A little boy stood at the end of my bed last night and said "grandma...I can't sleep in the other bedroom."..I said "Josh ..would you like to sleep with me?" and he said "Sure!". He ran and grapped his stuffed animals and blanket and jumped up on the bed and cuddled in...In minutes he was asleep. About 10 minutes later, a little miss appeared at the doorway and said..."grandma, I was just checking on Joshua"...I said ."Victoria, would you like to join us...and within 2 seconds there were three of us in the bed and almost immediately sound asleep. During the night I woke up many times just enjoying the opportunity of knowing the love of "the littles". Grandpa had the choice of a REALLY crowded bed with us...or sleeping by himself in the other room...Guess which he chose??LOL
Joshua sleeps cuddled up all night and if you move, his arm goes right around my neck.....I wouldn't miss these moments for anything...Today I am "THANKFUL" for my precious grandchildren..how they are growing and how they laugh and love so perfectly..the trust they have in us and the sparkle in their eyes. Thank you Lord for the gift of family. As the psalmist says...there is no greater joy than to see my children walking in the Lord. I AM THANKFUL.

P.S. If I am limping today I forgot to tell you we took them bowling last night. Larry and I haven't bowled in about 10 years....and oh yes..it was ROCK AND BOWL night...like in the dark with strobe lights beaming in constant circles.....but did we have fun.....OH YES!!!We hadn't been to the bowling alley since it was all computerized and you no longer have to keep your own score!

"There were 3 in the bed and the little one said...."

Reading of how little Josh wraps his arms around you, reminds me of how my Heavenly Father always has His arms around me. I wouldn't trade it for anything either.

Love ya,
Joy
